Jack in the Box Inc. Promotes Charles Watson to SVP and Chief Development Officer; Michael Bamrick to VP of Franchising

Jack in the Box Inc. (NYSE: JBX) today announced the promotions of Charles Watson to senior vice president and chief development officer and Michael Bamrick to vice president of franchising.

Watson, who was previously vice president and chief development officer, is responsible for implementing the company's new-unit growth and franchising strategies, as well as overseeing the company's architecture, construction, equipment purchasing, facilities management, franchise sales and development, and real estate departments. Watson first joined Jack in the Box in 1984 as a regional director. He was then promoted to national director and subsequently division vice president of real estate and construction. In 1997, he was named vice president of real estate and construction.

Bamrick, a 30-year Jack in the Box veteran, has held various positions of increasing responsibility with the company, including stints in operations and training. He most recently served as division vice president of franchise operations. In his new role, Bamrick will be the company's principle representative to its growing community of franchise operators. He will be responsible for the development and oversight of franchise standards, procedures and policies, and will help integrate new franchise operators into the company's culture and system.
