Itron Inc. Earnings Advance 97% In Q1

(RTTNews) - Itron Inc. (ITRI) announced a profit for its first quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $16.83 million, or $0.44 per share. This was up from $8.55 million, or $0.22 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 11.4% to $497.59 million. This was up from $446.75 million last year.
