(RTTNews) - International Game Technology (IGT) Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $25.7 million or $0.10 per share, compared to $78.2 million or $0.29 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted net income for the latest second quarter was $49.4 million or $0.20 per share, down from $95.1 million or $0.36 per share in the previous year period. On average, 20 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.19 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
