Intergraph Awards $1.3 Million Educational Grant to Helsinki University of Technology

Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) today announced it hasawarded an Educational Program Grant valued at more than $1.3 millionto Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. The grant includesSmartPlant(R) Instrumentation, SmartPlant P&ID, SmartSketch(R),SmartPlant Review, SmartPlant 3D, PDS(R) Plant Design System softwareas well as applicable consulting and services.

The university's plant design department will use the software toenhance its problem-based educational curriculum. Students in thisdepartment actively participate in educational projects such as thedevelopment, design and retro-fitting of chemical, food, biologicaland pulp and paper processes. The software will be used in plantdesign courses to expand students' understanding of the plant designengineering market, outline the workflows created using today's toolsand challenge students to use the technology in innovative ways.

Intergraph's Educational Grant Program is an initiative to launchstudents into the process, power and offshore industries with thetools and expertise needed to advance the field.
