Huron Consulting Group Q2 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Huron Consulting Group Inc.'s (HURN) Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $15.8 million or $0.69 per share, up from $6.5 million or $0.29 per share last year.

Adjusted net income from continuing operations for the quarter rose to $17.0 million or $0.75 per share from $8.2 million or $0.37 per share last year. Revenues increased 17.8 percent to $170.4 million from $144.7 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $165.51 million for the quarter.

The company lifted its full year financial outlook. The company now expects revenues before reimbursable expenses of $670.0 million to $690.0 million, earnings of $2.35 to $2.50 per share and adjusted earnings of $2.55 to $2.70 per share.

Analysts currently estimate earnings of $2.60 per share on revenues of $677.63 million for the quarter.

The company previously expected earnings of $2.25 to $2.45 per share, adjusted earnings of $2.45 to $2.65 per share and revenues of $655.0 million to $685.0 million.
