Herbalife Adds UK Sports Specialist Ralph Rogers, M.D., Ph.D. FECSS, FACSM FFSEM (RCSI) to Medical Advisory Board

Herbalife's Scientific and Medical Advisory Boards are chaired byDavid Heber, M.D., director of the Center for Human Nutrition at theUniversity of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The SAB guides productresearch and development, focusing on the quality and benefits ofproducts. The MAB members educate distributors on product usage andgive health-news updates through multiple company channels and livetraining events around the world. The MAB also provides an educationalresource for doctors and healthcare professionals.

Rogers is a private practitioner specializing in sports medicine,rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, human performance,corporate wellness and occupational medicine. He has lectured andtutored for the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine(BASEM) and is a former chairman of BASEM (West Midlands), andconsults with various companies dealing in sports medicine and humanperformance in both the U.S. and Europe.

Additionally, Rogers is currently medical advisor to the Trinidadand Tobago World Cup Football Team, club doctor for the WalsallFootball Club, West Midlands England and sports physician for theWarwickshire County Cricket Club in Birmingham, UK.

He has been awarded numerous fellowships and has publishedextensively in his areas of expertise. He earned a Diploma in SportsMedicine from The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the RoyalCollege of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physiciansand Surgeons of Glasgow, UK; PH.D., in exercise physiology fromUniversity of Maryland, U.S.; M.D. in medicine, surgery and obstetricsand bachelor of science degree, Catholic University of Leuven,Belgium.
