Hebrew SeniorLife Strengthens Commitment to Accurate Patient Data Capture and Management With Vettro FieldMaster for Healthcare
Vettro, a global leader in on-demand mobile business applications,today announced Hebrew SeniorLife is deploying Vettro FieldMaster forHealthcare to electronically capture and manage patient evaluationdata from a centralized database. With the deployment, the HebrewSeniorLife office staff can use Vettro's Web-based back-end service tocreate or edit referrals, lookup patient notes and details, generatereports, and dispatch referrals to mobile workers. Patient liaisonsand nurses in the field equipped with Vettro FieldMaster forHealthcare on BlackBerry(R) from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq:RIMM; TSX: RIM) can receive immediate notification of new referralswith full associated details, share referral updates with the centraloffice, and ultimately accelerate the overall evaluation and admissionprocess.

Hebrew SeniorLife selected Vettro's solution as part of a largerinitiative to enhance the quality of interactions with eachprospective patient and reduce inefficiencies associated withpaper-based forms throughout the organization.

As an on-demand packaged solution, Vettro FieldMaster forHealthcare can be deployed to both desktop and BlackBerry users withina matter of minutes, with the mobile client installed completely overthe wireless network. All customizations and changes to the hostedback-end are automatically detected by the mobile application,minimizing administrative costs required to maintain the mobileclient. Additionally, the application remains fully accessible evenoutside of wireless coverage areas, and all data captured offline isautomatically re-transmitted when the user moves back into coverage.
