Havertys Q2 Comps Up 3.8%, Sales Increase 3.8% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Havertys (HVT) said that its sales for the second quarter 2016 increased 3.8% to $194.8 million, compared with $187.7 million for the second quarter of 2015. On a comparable store basis, sales for the quarter rose 3.8%. Comparable store sales do not include locations opened, closed or otherwise non-comparable during the last 12 months.

Written total and comparable store sales for the second quarter of 2016 both rose 6.0% over the same quarter last year. Havertys' stores are closed for Easter and the positive impact on second quarter written sales from the holiday occurring in March this year versus April last year is estimated at 1.5%.
