Harsco Board Selects Nicholas Grasberger As President & COO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Harsco Corp. (HSC) announced its Board has unanimously selected Nicholas Grasberger as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. The appointment is the first step in a planned transition during which Grasberger will continue his duties as CFO while the search for his successor in that role is conducted, and will become the company's President and CEO by mid-year 2014 once the process is complete.

Grasberger has served as Senior Vice President and CFO since April 2013. Grasberger has nearly 30-year executive background in both finance and operations.

David Everitt, the company's Interim President and CEO since March 1, 2014, will continue as Interim CEO until Grasberger assumes the Chief Executive Officer role. The company announced it has initiated a formal search process with a leading executive search firm for Grasberger's successor as CFO.
