LONDON, March 13, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "Some years ago, when I was still a serving military officer, I was made aware of the success biofeedback had in Canada in preparing our military athletes for the annual competitions of the International Confederation of Reserve Officers, a competition involving Reserve Force officers from thirty-four different nations. Most (if not all) of us have been exposed or will be exposed to at least one traumatic event in our lifetime; there can be many root causes of trauma and PTSD but, regardless of the cause, these disorders can take a toll on the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of individuals who suffer from them. Bio and neurofeedback are evidence based techniques which are utilized by many health professionals as part of their repertoire of interventions In the treatment of trauma helping their clients who had been suffering in silence to heal and empower themselves.
Health professionals are invited to learn more about these techniques in a workshop co-instructed by Santiago Brand, BA, BCN, BCB and Linda Walker. MHR, LPC, BCN, BCB, on PTSD and trauma. "I have been witness to the healing power of bio and neurofeedback in the many clients whom I have had the privilege of helping heal, irrespective oh what type of trauma or trauma(s) the have experienced and how long ago. They no longer have to suffer in silence, they no longer have to be victims of such tragic memories," remarked Santiago Brand who will co-instruct the workshop with Linda Walker.
