    LITTLETON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2005--Champps Restaurants in Dayton and West Chester, Ohio, recently rolled out a new limited-time beer promotion where the price of Anheuser-Busch products on tap will inversely correlate to the average metro price of regular gas.
    A new 11-ounce draft size for all Anheuser-Busch products on tap has been introduced as a part of this promotion. A bench mark of $2 per draft has been established and for every cent the price of regular gas exceeds $2, the price of the Anheuser-Busch draft beer will drop. In other words, with the current average price of regular gas at $2.20 in the Cincinnati area, the price of an 11 ounce draft would drop to $1.80. Each Wednesday, prices will be based on the previous Tuesday's AAA metro average for regular gas and will be set for a week.
    "This is a great promotion that is fun for our staff and, of course, hopefully all of our guests. With the price of gas escalating on a daily basis, we want to give our guests some price breaks on their favorite products," said Cindy Andzik, General Manager of Champps in Dayton.
