First Data International Strengthens Its Footprint across Latin America; Three Leading Financial Institutions Sign Agreements with the Company's Latin American Payment Processing Company

First Data International, part of First Data Corp.(NYSE:FDC), a global leader in electronic commerce and paymentservices, today announced another milestone in growing its presenceacross Latin America with the recent signing of three new paymentprocessing agreements with Bank of Bahamas, Fidelity Bank and the NewEngland Bankcard Association.

Processing Center, S.A. (PROCESA), a First Data company offeringpayment processing solutions customized for its clients in LatinAmerica and the Caribbean, will provide card issuing processingservices to these financial institutions.

Bank of Bahamas will use PROCESA's services for its credit cardand prepaid portfolios. The credit card portfolios of Fidelity Bank,located in the Cayman Islands, will convert to the PROCESA platformfor account processing. In addition, PROCESA will support a prepaidproduct for the New England Bankcard Association's client ButterfieldBank (Barbados) Ltd.
