Emergent BioSolutions Announces Preliminary 2013 Results - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Emergent BioSolutions Inc. (EBS) announced preliminary 2013 financial results and provided guidance for 2014. For full year 2013, the company expects GAAP net income of $30 million to $32 million. Excluding approximately $7 million of transaction-related and restructuring costs incurred during the year, the company is providing a forecast for 2013 non-GAAP adjusted net income of $35 million to $37 million. Emergent BioSolutions expects full year 2013 total revenues of $311 million to $313 million.

For full year 2014, and assuming a late first-quarter close of the Cangene acquisition, the company forecasts total revenues of $415 million to $445 million. The company also forecasts full year 2014 GAAP net income of $30 million to $40 million.
