EasyLink Adds Two New Independent Directors to Its Board

    PISCATAWAY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2005--EasyLink Services Corporation (NASDAQ: EASY), a leading global provider of services that power the exchange of information between enterprises, their trading communities and their customers, today announced the appointment of Peter Holzer and Eric Zahler to its Board of Directors as independent Directors.
    Peter Holzer is currently Chairman of the Embrex Corporation a leading agricultural biotechnology firm. Prior to Embrex he was Executive Vice President and Director of Planning and Development for Chase Manhattan Corporation (now JPMorganChase), where he also held a number of other executive assignments around the world during his 28 year career. Holzer is also currently a Director of CAS Holdings, a privately owned operator of environmental testing laboratories, and an advisor to Taddingstone Consulting Group a financial services industry strategy consulting firm.
    Eric Zahler is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Loral Space & Communications where he is responsible for overseeing the company's two businesses: Loral Skynet, a global satellite services provider, and Space Systems/Loral, a leading manufacturer of commercial satellites. He also is a member of Loral's Board of Directors. Zahler previously was a Partner at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.
    With these latest additions, EasyLink's Board of Directors now consists of Independent Directors Dennis Raney, George Knapp, Robert Casale, John Petrillo, Peter Holzer and Eric Zahler, in addition to EasyLink President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Murawski.
    John Petrillo and Eric Zahler will serve on the audit committee of EasyLink's board, together with existing members Dennis Raney and George Knapp. Peter Holzer will serve on the compensation committee of EasyLink's board, together with existing members Robert Casale and George Knapp. Mr. Casale will no longer serve on the audit committee.
