Dril-Quip Inc. Bottom Line Drops 18% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Dril-Quip Inc. (DRQ) revealed a profit for fourth quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its profit totaled $48.35 million, or $1.28 per share. This was down from $59.09 million, or $1.50 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.06 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 20.9% to $201.63 million. This was down from $254.82 million last year.
