Digital Realty Trust Confirms Not To Make Offer For Telecity - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Digital Realty Trust Inc (DLR), a provider of data center and colocation solutions, confirmed Thursday, noting the recent speculation regarding a potential transaction involving Telecity Group plc (TCY.L), that it does not intend to make an offer for Telecity.

In March, TelecityGroup, a provider of data centres in Europe, entered into a definitive agreement with Interxion Holding N.V. (INXN) on an all-share merger.

In early May, TelecityGroup received an approach from Equinix, Inc. (EQIX) regarding a possible offer for TelecityGroup at 1145 pence per share. The company decided to permit Equinix to undertake a short period of due diligence.
