DGAP-News: LPKF Laser & Electronics AG

Garbsen, 12 October 2017 - As already announced in March of this year, Dr. Ingo Bretthauer, CEO of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG, will not extend his employment contract beyond 2017. Bretthauer will run the operational business until 15 October and will then be available to the company in an advisory capacity. On 16 October Kai Bentz takes over the role of Spokesman of the Management Board for a transitional period. Also on this day, the Chair of the Supervisory Board will change from Dr. Heino Büsching to Dr. Markus Peters.

The Supervisory Board is working hard to find a successor for the CEO position. Bentz, who is already Vice Chairman of the Management Board, joined the LPKF Group in 2002 and has been responsible for finance, human resources and organization as CFO since 2007. All restructuring and business development measures will be vigorously pursued by the Management Board.

The Supervisory Board would like to thank Bretthauer for his extraordinary and formative contribution to the company's development over the past nine years. Bretthauer was initially appointed to the Management Board in 2009 as Spokesman and was later appointed as Chairman of the Board.
