David L. Archer Named CEO of Tenet's Memphis Market; Kem Mullins Named CEO of Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett
Archer, who has served as chief executive officer of Saint Francisin Memphis since 1997, will continue in that position.
"David brings a great deal of health care experience to thisimportant new position," said Stephen E. Corbeil, senior vicepresident of operations for the Tenet Central Northeast-SouthernStates Region. "His knowledge of the market makes him the perfectchoice to be our market leader in the greater Memphis area as wecontinue to serve the needs of this growing area."

Archer, 48, has more than 20 years experience as a healthcareexecutive. He holds a master's degree in business administration fromColumbia University Graduate School in New York and a master's degreein public health from the Columbia University School of Public Health.Archer also earned a bachelor's degree in management from PurdueUniversity in West Lafayette, Ind.
Tenet also announced today that Kem M. Mullins has been namedchief executive officer for Saint Francis-Bartlett Hospital, effectiveMarch 20, 2006. Mullins will oversee all strategic, operational andclinical activities at the hospital
Mullins was promoted to his new position after serving for threeyears as chief operating officer at Tenet's Atlanta Medical Center inAtlanta, Ga. There, he was responsible for operations oversight of the460-bed tertiary care facility.

Prior to joining Atlanta Medical Center, Mullins served as chiefoperating officer at Regional Medical Center of Northeast Arkansas inJonesboro, Ark. Before that he served three years as associateadministrator of University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tenn. He alsowas associate administrator of Williamson Memorial Hospital inWilliamson, W.Va.
Mullins, 33, holds a master's degree in finance from MoreheadState University in Morehead, Ky., and a bachelor's degree in healthcare management from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.
