Convergys Wins Two Awards for Innovative Solutions at the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Conference

Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, has received two coveted Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards for its leadership in innovative learning. Convergys has now received nine Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards since 2005.

Convergys received the Gold award in the Best Integration of Learning and Talent Management category. With this award, Brandon Hall recognized the high-performance learning and talent management strategy Convergys created to overcome performance and operational challenges in a global Technical Support program for a large technology client. Drawing upon learning modules that focused on development of key competencies, Convergys improved agent product knowledge and drove improved program performance in customer satisfaction and other key program metrics.

Convergys also received the Silver award in the Best Learning Team category for the development of a Home Agent training solution that does not require agents to visit a Convergys facility for training, thus eliminating associated costs maintaining a brick-and-mortar facility. The Convergys Home Agent learning solution balances agent learning needs with business requirements in a single learning module available to agents in their home rather than at a brick-and-mortar facility.
