Coca-Cola FEMSA Q4 Profit Slightly Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. de C.V. (KOF), the largest franchise bottler in the world, reported that its fourth-quarter net income attributable to equity holders of the company increased to 3.08 billion Mexican pesos from 3.07 billion pesos, prior year. Earnings per share in pesos was 1.48, flat with prior year.

Total revenues decreased 8.5% to 39.57 billion Mexican pesos from 43.24 billion pesos, prior year. On a currency neutral basis and excluding the non-comparable effect of Spaipa in Brazil, total revenues grew 23.3%.

The company noted that its fourth quarter 2014 results of Venezuelan operation were translated using the SICAD II alternate exchange rate of 50 bolivars per U.S. dollar. The results of 2013 were translated using an exchange rate of 6.30 bolivars per U.S. dollar.
