Cigna Corp. Earnings Advance 8% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Cigna Corp. (CI) announced a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $593 million, or $2.28 per share. This was higher than $548 million, or $2.06 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.2% to $9.39 billion. This was up from $8.76 billion last year.
