C&J Energy Results Top Estimate

(RTTNews) - C&J Energy Services Inc (CJES) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $23.8 million or $0.42 per share compared with $13 million or $0.24 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.47 per share.

Revenues for the quarter were $440 million compared with $262 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.34 per share on revenues of $413.7 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

C&J Energy is a provider of hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing, wireline, pumpdown and other complementary oilfield services.
