    SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2005--The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department unveiled its new, state-of-the-art Wildland Ultra XT brush rig used to combat fires in open spaces and rough terrain today. Accredited Home Lenders Holding Co. (NASDAQ:LEND), a mortgage banking company based here, underwrote the gift.
    Accredited co-founders Jim Konrath and Ray McKewon joined San Diego Mayor Dick Murphy, Deputy Mayor Michael Zucchet and Fire Chief Jeff Bowman for the unveiling ceremony at the North Park Fire Station No. 14, where the rig will be housed.
    "Delivery of this brush rig represents a big step toward getting everyone in the San Diego community -- corporations, individuals, and government -- involved in being part of the solution to public safety priorities," said Mayor Murphy. "I'd like to thank Accredited Home Lenders for being a leader in this effort through this generous gift, the first of its kind in providing the city with a major piece of fire apparatus."
