Boeing Workers To Vote Monday To Ratify New Contract Proposal; Stock Up

(RTTNews) - Striking workers of the Boeing Co. (BA) will vote on November 4 on a new contract proposal from the company, offering a compounded wage increase of 43.65 percent.

The tentative agreement also offers several benefits including 38 percent before compounding, $12,000 ratification bonus, $105 pension multiplier per year, a special company retirement contribution of 4 percent, and reinstated AMPP incentive plan with a guaranteed minimum annual payment of 4 percent.

If ratified, the workers will set a new wage standard and secure benefits like bonus, retirement, and health care costs, IAM District 751 President Jon Holden and IAM District W24 President Brandon Bryant said.

Currently, Boeing's stock is climbing 4.23 percent, to $155.71 on the New York Stock Exchange.
