Beyond Webster Hall: Excess dB Entertainment Expands to New Venues

NEW YORK, Aug. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As renovation is set to begin at the historic East Village staple Webster Hall, Vice President of Concerts and talent buyer, Heath Miller prepares to expand his concert promotions company Excess dB Entertainment. Founded in 1999, Excess dB has presented the debut NYC area shows for artists including Paramore, Killswitch Engage, Fall Out Boy, Lindsey Stirling, G-Eazy and many more.

Miller has been with Webster Hall for over six years and led the company to its 2016 Nightclub of the Year award from Pollstar Magazine's annual charts. During his tenure as the exclusive talent buyer for Webster Hall's Grand Ballroom, Miller moved the venue's ranking from #11 to #2 club sized venue worldwide.

Miller's notable bookings at Webster Hall include Nine Inch Nails, Muse, LCD Soundsystem, Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, Travis Scott, Chance the Rapper, Green Day, among others.

Along with the transition comes longtime co-worker Erin Nourijanian, former Marketing Director of Webster Hall.

In April 2017, Excess dB became the exclusive talent buyer for the new White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey. The recently renovated 800 capacity venue has an active programming calendar including acts such as Mitski, The Mountain Goats, Drive-By Truckers, New Found Glory, Max Weinberg, Best Coast and more.

Excess dB Entertainment will also be booking at notable venues in New York City such as Stage 48, Le Poisson Rouge, Highline Ballroom, American Beauty, Public Arts, and the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center as well as Debonair Music Hall (formerly Mexicali Live) in New Jersey.

In addition to Excess dB, Miller brings his live music expertise to Bandsintown in an effort to further develop the product and introduce exciting new developments targeting venues, managers and fans.
