Archer Daniels Midland To Buy Oil Bottling Company AOR N.V. - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Grain processor Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) said it has reached an agreement to purchase AOR N.V., a privately-held oil bottling company based in Antwerp, Belgium. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

AOR, whose brands include Oilo and Coroli, serves customers across Europe, with particular strength in northwest Europe - Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg - and has a substantial export business.

Archer Daniels Midland noted that the oil bottling capacity will enhance its presence in Europe, and offers the company entry into continental European retail and foodservice markets. The proposed transaction is contingent on regulatory approvals.
