AMG's Chairman to Highlight Company's Strategy and Growth Record at

JPMorgan Small Cap Conference
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 2005--William J. Nutt, Chairman of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (NYSE: AMG), is expected to speak on March 9, 2005 at the JPMorgan Small Cap Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Nutt is scheduled to address the conference at 8:30 a.m. Central time. Joined by Darrell W. Crate, AMG's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Nutt will highlight the Company's business model and investment strategy, as well as the growth record of AMG and its Affiliates.
