Allegiant Air Offers New Routes To DC, Savannah

(RTTNews) - Allegiant Air has kickstarted the New Year by launching 19 new routes and service to three new destinations, including Washington D.C./Baltimore; Destin in Florida and El Paso in Texas.

To celebrate the start of 2016, the airline will introduce the new service with one-way fares as low as $39.

The Las Vegas-based low-cost carrier will start four new non-stop services to Savannah in Georgia from four cities. This will be in addition to the three services it currently operates into Savannah.

The new non-stop services to Savannah's Hilton Head International Airport are from Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Lexington, Kentucky.

The new flights from Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Baltimore will begin in April 2016, while the service from Lexington will start in June.

The service to Baltimore will be a year-round service, while the other three are seasonal.

Allegiant Air will also launch six non-stop services to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, with four of the six new routes operating on a seasonal basis.

The smaller U.S. cities of Cincinnati and Savannah will be connected to Baltimore/Washington by two year-round services.The new flights from these cities will begin in April 2016.

The service to Baltimore/Washington from Tulsa in Oklahoma, Asheville in North Carolina, and Knoxville in Tennessee will start in May. The new route from Lexington, Kentucky will begin in June.
