Alignvest Announces Termination of Alignvest Top 20 Fund

TORONTO, Dec. 19, 2018 /CNW/ - Alignvest Capital Management Inc. ("Alignvest"), as manager of the Alignvest Top 20 Fund (the "Fund"), announced today its intention to terminate the Fund on or about February 18, 2019 (the "Termination Date").

The Fund intends to redeem all units held by unitholders on the Termination Date. Such redemption will be effected at the Net Asset Value of the units determined on the Termination Date.

Effective today, the Fund is closed to all new subscriptions. Unitholders may continue to redeem any units of the Fund they hold prior to the Termination Date by contacting their dealer or advisor.

A notice has been sent to each unitholder of the Fund regarding the termination. Alignvest encourages all unitholders of the Fund to consult with their respective advisors to understand any tax and financial implications related to the termination of the Fund.
