Alfa Laval Gets SEK 100 Mln Offshore Order From Statoil

(RTTNews) - Alfa Laval (ALFA.ST), engaged in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, Thursday said it has won an order from Norwegian energy firm Statoil ASA (STO) to supply Framo power generator systems to an oil platform located in the Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea.

The order, booked in the Marine & Offshore Pumping Systems segment, has a value of approximately 100 million Swedish kronor. The delivery is scheduled for 2016.

The order comprises the delivery of emergency power generators to an oil platform, operated by Statoil in the Johan Sverdrup oil field in the North Sea.

Framo, acquired by Alfa Laval in 2014, has supplied emergency generator sets for offshore platforms for more than 20 years.
