Akorn Inc Q1 Earnings Climb 21%

(RTTNews) - Akorn Inc (AKRX) released a profit for its first quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $67.96 million, or $0.54 per share. This was higher than $56.25 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 18.0% to $268.35 million. This was up from $227.38 million last year.
