Akorn Expects FY15 Adj. Earnings Below Street View

(RTTNews) - Akorn Inc. (AKRX, AKRN.OB) Tuesday said it expects full year 2015 earnings per share to be $1.14 and adjusted earnings per share to be $1.93. On average, 14 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to earn $1.95 per share. Analysts estimates usually exclude special items.

Net revenue for 2015 is expected to be $985 million. Wall Street expects $971.40 million.

Looking ahead to the full year 2016, the company projects earnings per share to be in a range of $1.56 to $1.66. On an adjusted basis, earnings per share is expected to be in a range of $2.10 to $2.20 per share. Analysts expect $2.27 per share on revenue of $1.09 billion.

Net revenue for the full year 2016 is expected to be $1.060 to $1.080 billion.
