Advanced Semiconductor Q2 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASX), a provider of packaging and testing services, Friday reported an increase in net income for the second quarter, on the back of higher revenues from all its operations.

Net income attributable to the shareholders of the parent was NT$3.82 billion or NT$0.50 per share, compared with NT$3.19 billion or NT$0.42 per share reported during the corresponding quarter last year. In U.S. dollar terms, earnings per ADS totaled $0.084, compared with $0.071 a year ago.

Total net revenues for the quarter increased to NT$50.7 billion from prior year's NT$45.8 billion.
