ADM Q3 Preliminary Profit Down; Cuts FY Profit Outlook

(RTTNews) - Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) reported preliminary earnings per share of $0.04 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024, and quarterly adjusted earnings per share of $1.09, both lower than the prior year period. ADM lowered its previously provided earnings per share guidance for the full year. The company now expects adjusted earnings per share in the range of $4.50 to $5.00 for the full year 2024, compared to the prior outlook of $5.25 to $6.25. Analysts expect annual earnings of $5.23 per share.
