ADC Names Two New Business Unit Leaders; Hilton Nicholson Rejoins ADC as President of Active Infrastructure Business Unit; Richard Parran, Jr. Named President of U.S. Professional Services

Effective immediately, Hilton Nicholson will have leadershipresponsibility as President of ADC's Active Infrastructure BusinessUnit. Nicholson was the President of ADC's IP Cable Business Unituntil it was divested in 2004. Immediately prior to rejoining ADC,Hilton was the Senior Vice President of Product Operations at 3Com,with responsibility for product management, product marketing, R&D,customer technical support and supply chain. Prior to joining ADC in2002, Hilton had a distinguished twenty-two year career with AT&T andLucent with substantial experience in engineering, product managementand general management.

Following a transition period, Mike Pratt will be leaving ADC topursue personal interests. "Since joining ADC in 2002, Mike has workedtirelessly on ADC's behalf," stated Switz. "Mike has been a courageousleader during a period of challenging industry conditions, anddeserves much credit for helping ADC to effectively steer the coursewith our Active Infrastructure Business Unit."

"I am also pleased to announce that effective immediately, DickParran will be the President of ADC's U.S. Professional Servicesbusiness as well as our Professional Services strategy leader on aglobal basis," continued Switz. "Dick has been performing in this roleon an interim basis since last November, in addition to his role asVice President, Business Development." Professional services, whichADC offers in North America and Europe, are used to plan, deploy andmaintain communications networks that deliver Internet, data, videoand voice services to consumers and businesses.

Gokul Hemmady, ADC's Chief Financial Officer, will assume interimresponsibility for ADC's business development activities.
