ACS Appoints Chris Tranquill Group President of Business Process Solutions

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) has promoted Chris Tranquill to group president of the Business Process Solutions unit. Tranquill will direct ACS’ operations primarily focusing on commercial call center outsourcing and travel, transportation and logistics outsourcing. He reports to Tom Blodgett, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ACS’ commercial operations.

"Chris is a proven leader who has grown his business at every level,” said Blodgett. "He will leverage his global perspective to increase customer satisfaction and continue to make ACS the leading provider of business process outsourcing services.”

Previously, Tranquill was managing director of the Communications and Consumer Goods unit for ACS, growing business by nearly 40 percent in annual revenue in two years. As vice president of this unit, Tranquill directed ACS’ largest single account, growing operations by 150 percent in two years.

In addition to growing ACS’ award-winning call center outsourcing operations, Tranquill has also integrated several international acquisitions most recently Grupo Multivoice, an Argentine-based call center outsourcing provider, and e-Services, a Caribbean-based customer care services provider.
