$83,000 In College Scholarships Available To Local High School Seniors
PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/-- Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) of the Philadelphia Region with the support of the McDonalds® Owner/Operators of the Greater Philadelphia Region are seeking local, qualified applicants to apply for one of four scholarships: RMHC Scholars Scholarship for all high school seniors; the RMHC/African American Future Achievers Scholarship for African American high school seniors; the RMHC/Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources® (HACER®) Scholarship for Latino high school seniors; and the RMHC/Asian Students Increasing Achievement (ASIA) Scholarship for Asian high school seniors. Fifty-five (55) total scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 each, in Spring 2014.
RMHC of the Philadelphia Region offers college scholarships to all high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, financial need and plan on attending a two- or four-year college during the next academic year.

Applicants may apply online at https://aim.applyists.net/RMHC now through January 21, 2014 and will be asked to submit a high school transcript, a letter of recommendation and a personal statement detailing their background and community involvement.
