U.S. Home Builder Confidence Slips In December
(RTTNews) - A closely-watched measure of confidence among U.S. home builders ticked down this month by one point to 57, according to National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo data released Monday.
September's score of 59 was a nine-year peak.
"We are in a slow march back to normal," said David Crow, NAHB chief economist. As we head into 2015, housing market should continue to recover at a gradual pace."
Building confidence has tailed off a bit since September in three of the four U.S. regions, but the West saw its best reading since 2005.
