Taiwan Industrial Production Rises Less Than Forecast In November

(RTTNews) - Taiwan's industrial production rose less than forecast in November, after surging up in the previous month, preliminary figures from the Ministry of Economic Affairs showed Monday.

Industrial production rose 2.09 percent year-over-year in November after increasing 8.32 percent in October. Economists were looking for an increase of 3.1 percent.

Among sectors, manufacturing production advanced 2.23 percent annually in November, while water supply decreased 3.22 percent.

On a monthly basis, industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 2.33 percent from October, when it rose 1.09 percent.
