Sweden PPI Falls At Slower Rate In July

(RTTNews) - Sweden's producer prices continued to decline in July, though at a slower pace than in the previous month, figures from Statistics Sweden showed Thursday.

The producer price index fell 1.1 percent year-over-year in July, following a 1.9 percent decrease in June. The measure has been falling since July 2015.

On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.3 percent from June, when it rose by 1.5 percent.

Import prices dipped 3.7 percent annually and by 0.6 percent monthly in June.

Prices for domestic supply, combining domestic and import markets, slid 1.8 percent yearly and decreased 0.4 percent from the preceding month.
