Spain PPI Continues To Fall In July

(RTTNews) - Spain's producer prices continued to decline in July, the statistical office INE said Thursday.

Producer prices decreased 4.6 percent year-on-year in July, following a 4.5 percent drop in June.

Excluding energy, producer prices fell 0.5 percent, slower than the 0.7 percent decrease in previous month.

On a monthly basis, producer prices remained flat in July versus a 2 percent increase in June.

Consumer goods prices edged up 0.1 percent annually and capital goods prices moved up 0.6 percent. Prices of intermediate goods prices dropped 1.7 percent.

Energy prices logged a sharp decline of 15.6 percent in July.
