South Korea Consumer Sentiment Ticks Higher In July

(RTTNews) - Consumer sentiment in South Korea inched higher in July, the Bank of Korea said on Tuesday with an index score of 111.2 - up from 111.1 in June.

Consumer sentiments for current living standards and their outlook were one point higher, at 95 and 104 respectively.

Consumer sentiment as to future household income was unchanged at 103, while that for future household spending was one point less at 108.

Consumer sentiment for to current domestic economic conditions was up three points at 96, while sentiment about the future outlook was three points lower at 109.

The expectation for inflation over the following year was 2.5.
