South Korea Consumer Confidence Slides In July
(RTTNews) - Consumer confidence in South Korea ebbed in July, the latest survey from the Bank of Korea showed on Wednesday with an index score of 101.0.
That's down from 105.5 in June, although it remains above the line of 100 that separates optimism from pessimism.
Consumer sentiment regarding current living standards was three points down from June at 91, while the outlook was two points less at 97.
Consumer sentiments for future household income and future spending were down, while sentiment regarding current domestic conditions fell 7 points.
The expected inflation rate for the following year was 2.6 percent.
