New Zealand Overall Credit Card Spending Adds 0.4% In October
(RTTNews) - The value of overall credit card spending in New Zealand was up a seasonally adjusted 0.4 percent on month in October, Statistics New Zealand said on Friday.
That was in line with expectations and up from the flat reading in September.
Retail credit card spending was up 0.3 percent - shy of expectations for 0.6 percent but unchanged from the previous month.
Core retail spending (which excludes the vehicle-related industries) rose 0.4 percent in October after a 0.1 percent rise in September.
