New Zealand Manufacturing PMI Jumps In February
(RTTNews) - The manufacturing sector continued to expand in February, and at a faster pace, the latest survey from Business NZ revealed on Friday with a Performance of Manufacturing Index score of 55.2.
That's up from the upwardly revised 52.2 in January (originally 51.6), and it moves further above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, production and new orders were the big gainers following seasonal weakness in January.
