New Zealand Manufacturing Activity Slips 1.8% In Q4
(RTTNews) - Total manufacturing activity was down a seasonally adjusted 1.8 percent on quarter in the fourth quarter of 2016, Statistics New Zealand said on Wednesday.
That follows the 2.1 percent increase in the third quarter.
Excluding meat and dairy product manufacturing, sales fell 0.6 percent, while meat and dairy product manufacturing fell 5.7 percent.
The value of manufacturing activity was up 0.8 percent, up from 0.4 percent in the three months prior.
