New Zealand Credit Card Spending Slips 0.3%
(RTTNews) - Total credit card spending in New Zealand was down a seasonally adjusted 0.3 percent on month in November, Statistics New Zealand said on Tuesday.
That missed forecasts for an increase of 0.4 percent following the 1.5 percent increase in October.
Retail credit card spending eased 0.1 percent - also missing expectations for a gain of 0.2 percent following the 1.0 percent gain in the previous month.
Credit card spending in core retail industries added 0.3 percent.
