MEXICO: Trade Balance Posts US$ 2.066 Billion Deficit In October

(RTTNews) - Mexico's trade balance posted a deficit of US$ 2.066 billion in October, according to the country's statistics office. A year earlier, the Mexican trade balance had recorded a US$ 898 million deficit.

In October, Mexico's exports rose 13.2%, reaching US$ 36.091 billion, primarily due to a 13% growth in non-oil exports, and a 16.5% increase in oil exports.

Meanwhile, October imports totaled US$ 38.967 billion, an increase of 16.3% on an annual basis, mainly due to a 14.1% increase in non-oil imports and a 40.1% growth in oil imports.
