Japan Corporate Service Price Index Rises More Than Expected

(RTTNews) - Japan's corporate service prices rose the most in more than a year in November, data released by the Bank of Japan showed on Wednesday.

The corporate service price index rose 1 percent year-on-year, following a 0.8 percent increase in October. Economists had expected the index to climb 0.8 percent.

The index rose for the seventh successive month in November. The latest increase was the biggest in at least the last 13 months.

Month-on-month, corporate service prices grew 0.4 percent in November, after remaining flat in the past two months. It was the first monthly increase since March.
