Finland Trade Deficit Widens In April

(RTTNews) - Finland's foreign trade deficit widened in April from the previous month, preliminary figures from the Finnish Customs showed Monday.

The foreign trade deficit widened to EUR 295 million in April from EUR 105 million in March. A year ago, the shortfall was EUR 90 million.

Exports dropped 5 percent year-on-year in April, while, imports fell 1 percent.

In the first four months, Finland's total trade deficit widened to EUR 1.1 billion from EUR 880 million in the same period last year
